At our Ofsted in June 2008, we achieved OUTSTANDING in ALL AREAS! Here are some snippets of what the Inspectors said.

Overall Effectiveness of the School – The Nursery provides an outstanding quality of education for its children.  Children’s welfare and parental involvement are at the heart of its work as evidenced in its mission statement, ‘Growing Together’ 

Achievement and Standards – All children achieve exceptionally well.  Children with learning difficulties and/or disabilities make rapid progress in their development, albeit in little steps. Children benefit from a range of exciting activities both indoors and outdoors  

Personal Development and Well-Being – Children love coming to the Nursery because they are treated as individuals and their needs are known to staff.  Children are confident, independent and very well behaved.  Children have an exceptionally good foundation fro the next stage in their learning 

Curriculum & Other Activities – The curriculum is vibrant, relevant and highly stimulating because it gives children opportunities to explore and engage both indoors and outdoors 

Care, Guidance & Support – The nursery is a safe and secure learning environment where children’s welfare is taken exceptionally seriously.  Outstanding care and guidance is given to any parent requiring support. 

Leadership & Management – The headteacher has successfully built a high performing team that shows great commitment to

evaluating practice and striving to improve even further.  The headteacher has created a vibrant, happy ethos which is

reflected in outstanding provision and high achievement.
